The seventh year dies

Ok so this post comes a bit late, mostly because I've been very sick the past week. It hasn't been fun. I had a post written but just scrapped it and am starting from scratch.

Why does the New Year motivate everyone to make change? This motivation lasts about a week, then we continue living our lives the way we have always lived them and a year later, very little has changed.

Well, to an extent, I'm no different. The new year does motivate me to change. Last year I swore to lose weight. I was at 195 in January, and within a few months I had lost 25 pounds and I've kept them off ever since.

But weight is a very minor thing to me. This year I'm changing my life.

I've said it before and I'm saying it again: Life isn't a 9-5 job that you hate. Life is waking up and being able to smile. You have to change you're own life.

School is finally ending for me this year, and Ive got to do something. So my "New Years Resolution" is that I'm going to do whatever it takes to progressivly move closer to the success I want with my life.

You have to be fierce, you have to push and shove sometimes, you have to do what it takes, and I need to step up and start doing all these things.

My main focus is going to be my books. End of Days book 1 is finished being edited and starting february I'm going to query my life away. I'm not going to care about what time of year it is, I won't stop until I have a deal.

I also have been writing another book in the End of Days series. I resolve to have that finished by summer and write at least 5 days out of the week.

I'm also promising myself that I'm going to keep my skating up to par.

And I'm sure many people have this same resolution ... I want to find a good job I'm happy with.

I have to have fierce dedication and focus to do this. I'm going to do what I have to do.

"To be successful at the level I wanted, it took such a desperate obsessive focus" - Will Smith

A.S. Vlog XII: Merry Vlogmas

Ok these names are getting lamer and lamer, but oh well, at least I am updating right? This vlog was rushed in every way shape and form. Even right now I need to get to bed so I can wake up and have my lengthy Christmas day! So expect a writing blog and new vlog on the day after Christmas, but if something goes wrong and it doesn't happen, don't be surprised. My life has a way of not letting me do the things I plan on. Until then, rock on guys. - Andy

A.S. Vlog XI: The Andy Vlogio Brothers

Ok that title was a bit pushing it. Once again I'm weary about posting my vlog. I don't even know how many people watch these. I feel like an idiot every time I post one. Reguardless how I feel ... Here is my new vlog. I really talk about nothing the whole time. I'm going to make it a point to put actual info into writing on here and my more goofier side onto my vlogs, because serious vlogs are lame. I'll do a writing blog on here sometime soon. I hope everyone is doing well. Later everyone! - Andy

December?

Ok so it was 70 degrees today (20 for anyone outside the US reading this.) and there is exactly two weeks until Christmas ... Cincinnati Weather is rediculous. Ok so this isn't really a big update. I'm going to put a Vlog up tomorrow (or I am at least planning on it.) For right now, I just wanted to post the video below. I filmed the Album release part for The Epidemic's debut album Quarantine Days. Watch the video I edited of Nightmare City(LIVE) and then go check out them and their music at the links below. And buy their album to support them. Until tomorrow ... -Andy
